Though several factors such as age, breed, coat type, and health status can alter this range for a cat, any temperature below 45° F can put the survival of most cats at risk. WebThe ambient temperature ranged from 20.3-30.8°C (68.5-87.5°F). Rectal temperature was not significantly correlated with ambient temperature. Conclusions and relevance: A range of 36.7-38.9°C (98.1-102.1°F) should be considered the new reference interval for healthy adult cats for rectal temperature measured indoors in climate-controlled conditions.
