WebThe Academic Success Seminar is a one-credit course designed for first-year students in the Program in Exploratory Studies and is taught by staff in the University Exploration & Advising Center. Through participation in FYXP 1100, students will develop the skills they need to succeed in college. WebDuring your time in it (usually 1 year) they encourage you to look around and chose a major, while also taking gen ed classes that will give you credit needed for graduation (basically the same as in high school so science classes, writing, social studies, ect).
